Ginger

Ginger (Gari) has an important role in the Japanese kitchen. For Sushi a pickled kind of sliced ginger is served to neutralize in between two Sushis. This way every Sushi can evolve its own taste. Also ginger has a digestive effect. There are two kinds of ginger available in Asia grocery stores available. The pink ginger is more hot than the white ginger.
